Magnificent brass sculpture of Lakshmi - Indian goddess of wealth and prosperity wearing an ornate robe and fine jewellery sitting on a beautifully crafted lotus flower holding the Kalash. 

Her four hands represent the goals of human life considered important to the Hindu way of life which are Dharma, Karma , Artha and Moksha protected by the mythical Yali see on top of this sculpture.

Wife and Shakti (Energy) of Vishnu, one of the principal deities of Hinduism and the Supreme Being in the Vaishnavism Tradition, Lakshmi is considered to be most auspicious and can be seen worshipped in most Indian temples / prayer rooms with flowers during daily prayers for wealth and prosperity of all the members of the family and especially during Diwali - The festival of lights.
